Huh? Two friends and I all bought Dyson animal vacs 13 years ago, and they still suck like new. The only repair of all three in that time was a new belt in mine, which was operator. Things are mint.

Good to know. Maybe my sister-in-law was playing rough with the three that ended up in her barn. I don't remember Consumer Reports giving them a good rating, but that was a while ago.

Own 3 myself. Each do require cleaning and filter replacements. I must say I have had to replace the battery in two of them. About $40 each on Amazon

We had over 10 trouble-free years with our old Dyson, then the handle cracked. Instead of repairing it we bought a new V11 model this spring. It was cordless, smaller, lighter and more powerful. We LOVE it.

By the way, we also got a Goldendoodle puppy (Amy) this spring. She doesn't shed at all. Amazing!

As I read the first line I thought you name the dog Dyson.

Bringing in a new member of the pack is always fun... We have two Boarder Collies, 1.5 year apart.... THe older one, had to get over a little toy possessiveness in the beginning but that only took a day or two...

Form the look of your two older guys, the question looks to be more distinguished, like.... "Dad are we going to have to share the Bourbon, with him".....

Congratulations for the great puppies all. I see many years of tender love for you both. We have Poodles, therefore not a problem to vacuum. We do have Shark vacuums which are great and an I Robot which makes the hardwood floors look just washed.

Default On Golden (Retriever) Pond...

Just about a month in and the big dogs have pretty much accepted Simba into the pack. Here's a shot of the 3 of them enjoying the sunset Friday night...

Good looking family. Here's to many years of great experiences with them.
