Default Home Owners Insurance

Yes, the cost/price went up.

Many/some advised to "shop around". Ya, right.

Went to another local insurance agency. All I gave was my name. No other information was provided.

That local agency, with just my name, pulled up my policy, showed current coverage and cost. And name of current insurance company.

What's the point? They know everything about you.

Could this new agency provide a better price ?????
Yes, I could switch companies and save $8.00 per year. 3 other companies cost/price was MORE.

Competition has brought pricing to the point of non-value.
Does one have a 800 number for 24 hrs service and a local office that you can physically go to?
That is my usual option... that and bundling prices.
