Smile Good dining near the Kancamagus Highway?

My husband and I "discovered" the Kanc after coming to NH for over 34 years!! However, when done exploring, we are hungry and looking for a good meal (not too expensive). Anyone have any recommendations?

I second the Woodstock Station at the Lincoln end. The Almost There restaurant on 16 at the other end is good too.

Try the Darby Field Inn sometime. You'll see their sign on the right as you head south from the Kanc in Conway. Not inexpensive though.

Default Not really The Lake but ....

Conway end: Jonathan's, about a mile or two North of the Kanc on Rt 16. (left side going North) Moderately priced seafood and good Lobster rolls. Pick your lobster from a tank near the front door.

Thanks to all for your suggestions, I've written down all the restaurants you mentioned and will try them out.

No........ It sounded good but a MUCH smaller portion would have been more my style - I could have gotten at least three meals out of that one, lol!
