Default Formula Center Console and Mercury Electric Outboards

Just received notifications from Formula that they are coming out with a 38' Center Console later this year and from Mercury that they are coming out with an electric outboard late '22 or early '23....

Fast, outboard-powered, center consoles are a really hot market and probably outsell typical I/O go fast boats these days. Formula is pretty late to this particular party.

What you say is very true. As a Formula owner, I have been surprised that they haven't jumped on the CC bandwagon these last few years. However, they have a loyal customer base, so I'm sure they will sell every CC they make, and then some.

Fountain has released some pretty sweet new center consoles.

Next year, it will be time for you to move up anyway, so start saving now. A 38' CC with twin electrics won't be cheap. Any gov't subsidy for electric OB's?

If you have big I/O or inboards on your 31 foot Formula, you could burn 30 gph. At 100 hours per season and $6.gal, that's $18000 for fuel. Electric might actually make sense.

Given inflation (on everything), the terrible crisis in the world today, our nations leaders lost at every turn, it might be time to just cruise on our Bennington......quiet, efficient, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Let's Go Brandon!

Exclamation ..... 30-lbs ugly powerboat fat!

One thing all these big money powerboaters have in common is they need to lose 30-lbs of ugly fat. You ever watch these guys with the big money powerboats waddle down the town dock as they head down to the local over-priced restaurant/bar to go stuff their fat face!

Hey there buddy...... for $375 ..... the Gilford Walmart has a Lifetime Allure 10' stand up paddle board in white that weighs 44-lbs and comes with a nice paddle and a permanent video camera mount on the bow so's you can post videos on this Winnipesaukee Forum of yourself paddling those wackadoozie Winnipesaukee weekend waters in this here boating section.

So, go paddle a stand up paddle board that requires no registration, no motor, no insurance, no gasoline, no trailer, and no dock ...... and loose those 30-lbs of ugly powerboat fat! ..... .... plus it puts your strength and balance to work to paddle it ...... arggh! ....

I'm hopeful that the NATO conference today will will give Joe an excuse to turnaround some of his energy policies in a humanitarian effort to help our European allies, and Ukraine.
