Default Tilton House of Pizza

I've seen THOP recommended here whenever the topic of pizza comes up, and we stopped in today.

What an awesome shop—I'd gladly trade in Elvio's or Anika's for a THOP in Moultonborough!

Awesome pizza—crispy with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese—very fair pricing, and the people working there were great.

My son, whom I came with, described it as "magnificent."

If it were just a little closer to Moultonborough...

THOP is the best pizza I've ever had. Nice folks, too. You could combine it with mountain biking at Highland.

Take a right off the exit and follow it downtown for ~1.4 miles.

It's good but it's Greek pizza, not quite the same as Italian pizza.

Agreed, but there's a place for both!

There is an Ashland House of Pizza that is also Greek style. Are these two related?

I've found that most (insert town here) House of Pizzas are Greek style. I know Gilford house is, as are most in my surrounding towns.

Nothing wrong with Greek pizza, it's just different than real Italian style pizza. I ate at Tilton House of Pizza and it was a great experience. I just prefer good Italian style pizza when available.

When you get to the main street in Tilton, turn right. The restaurant is a couple hundred feet on the right side. There's a small parking lot.

If you don't want to eat inside, you can drive up to the Tilton Arch (a small copy of the Arc de Triomphe) and eat there. Nice view.

I agree that they are two different pizzas. I prefer Italian thin crust but if hubby's treating it's a greek one. Ah well.
