Wolfeboro Lost Power?
After looking around Winter Harbor for lights, I called the town to report this wee-hours outage.
The Town's number gave me this recorded message: "We are aware of the outage. Call 569-1444 for more information. Don't leave a message". So...calling 569-1444 resulted in another recorded message: "We are aware of the outage. If an emergency, call 911" >>CLICK<< It turns out, the 3-hour outage was due to a pair of failed "lightning-arrestors". But for Wolfeboro, more "focused" recordings are needed--IMHO. |

Having lived here for 3.5 years...that 3 hour outage last night was the longest I've had to date. So that's a positive.
Where we come from (NY), we are used to at least 1 or 2 multi day outages every other year. But, there I could go to an app and see the estimated power company view of when power would be restored. Here, yeah...not so much. |
