Default Sailing lesson?

Is there any place on the lake that offers these? My husband always wanted to learn and I thought it might be a nice 30th anniversary gift for him. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yes! The LWSA (Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association) offers adult "Learn To Sail" as well as "Advanced Sailing" classes per their web site. They also offer private lessons.

Good luck!

In Holderness on Route 25, www.squamlakes.org/education/sailing-lessons

The Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing School is way, way, way back, buried deep in Smith Cove and you waste a lot of time getting past all the moored boats, Fay's Boat Yard boat traffic, Gilford island boat traffic, and the no-wake zone to get out to an open area on the lake. In Holderness, on Squam Lake, the sailing school is right there with quick easy access to the big water on Big Squam, plus they have more adult sailors at Squam.

I heard LWSA just got some new BIC Open Sailboats that are supposed to be really fun. The all volunteer board at LWSA has been working hard to really build a great asset to the big lake there.
See the bic boats here...

Yes they did! I believe they got 20 new BIC Boats. I donated one of them to the school as I believe like you they are a great asset to the big lake!
