Please take time to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11/2001, along with their families and the heroes who sacrificed for others. At the same time, please pray for America - we need it desperately.

It is imperative that we never forget the attack on this great country. Twenty
years later America has lost its' way when it comes to patriotism. There is
too much negativity and not enough civility these days. We need to get back to the pride we all shared 20 years ago. Fly those flags! This is a great country!
We need to unite to keep it great, not make it great again. God Bless!

Unless history is taught and remembered it will also repeat itself

9/11 was my "JFK," whereas the Boston Bombing is my current students'. I spent Thursday and Friday talking with them about my experience and the following days and how much dialogue in America has changed since.

Today is a fine day to look back and an important day to look forward.

Yes. To remember all of those government employees first responders. And all others who helped with this despicable act. To remember all who lost their lives.

And to pray for America. To pray for our military veterans. To pray for all of the women who are psychologically and physically abused by old men in so many capacities. To pray for the poor in this country who are vilified by so many.

Very true and what is worse is that we have a bunch of people in DC right now running around worried about "climate change" and "social justice" while our borders remain wide open and the threats to this country could not be greater then they are right now, arguably far greater than they were on 9/11. There are so many bad actors across the globe that are hell bent to destroy this country and while it's great we have been very successful at thwarting many plots to wreak havoc on this nation, not all will be and thus events such as 9/11 or the Boston Marathon bombing will continue to happen.

Unless or until we get a group of people in DC that are actually interested in actually doing their sworn duty to protect this nation we are collectively screwed. Our adversaries don't care about clean air and water, "climate change" or name your "justice" or "inequality" of the day..... they only care about one thing, the destruction of this country. It's not a matter of if but when the next major event occurs.

Sleep well my fellow citizens, there is nothing to fear!

Default High Octane (Broken Spoke)

Had an impressive 9/11 display yesterday. I was visibly shaken by it. The Combat Vets MC club was there hosting a really nice car and bike show at the time I was there.

That afternoon I attend the Thunderbird airshow. Again a moment of silence was performed. I can't believe the number of people who went about their duties during that moment. I am quite disgusted with the American public lately.

While it's true that our borders seem to be wide open, we still have border control on the southern and southwestern borders. I agree that it's debatable how effective they are, but they're doing their sworn duty to protect our borders. As for our adversaries who only care about our destruction, need I remind everyone that those adversaries are not all foreign. What is happening in Congress is an atrocity. All elected officials are "doing what my consti-
tuents want", doesn't matter if it's right or wrong. There are some who
only answer to one man...and it's not the Big Guy in the sky. There are states who believe the Constitution and our laws don't apply at the state level. With that kind of thinking, our country could turn into our own Afghanistan. One
or two powerful people could make this a real disaster, and it won't get any better until ALL of us put our collective minds together and actually get
something done.
Respectfully submitted
