Default Any idea what this little creature is?

This fellow visited me in the wee hours. Any idea what it is? Mink? Fisher cat?

Picture isn't that clear but I couldn't figure out how to upload a brief mp4 video.

It’s a house cat, departing the deck.

I can see why you say that because it's a crappy video capture. But the proportions are wrong. It's is very long and low to the ground, and walks differently. I have a number of cats for comparison.

OK then, it’s a long, low house cat.

Fishers are very dark. Looks like a house cat to me too. Cats can crouch low when hunting...

I agree, I have a calico cat that walks that way often. She slinks along an inch or two off the floor.

Weasel is a great guess but the tail looks too long. I'll go with the prowling house cat also.

Default House cat wins

Well it turned up in the daytime today and it is indeed a very long, low slinking house cat that I've never seen around before. Occam's Razor ... should have know.

I, too, have been unsuccessful at uploading an mp4 video.
Any suggestions?

You need to put it on YouTube then share the link here...that’s what I have had to do.

The trophy is nice but I was hoping for a "pic-in-nic basket".
