Dry land boating
Yesterday a pontoon with a 4 stroke came out of the water at Glendale and headed straight for the Lyons Den exit. The park officer was yelling for him to stop. His engine was running. The person behind him kept beeping until he stopped going up Dock Rd. He got out and shut it off. Maybe a few minutes running dry. The ramp guys have it rough on the weekends if not all summer. It would be mayhem without them.

At the least, he better check his lower unit water intake impeller. They need water running through the impeller as a lubricant...

You’d think the driver would have heard it all by himself.

Glendale is the best...
Glendale is the best run port on the lake. Great dock masters, great facility, lake hosts,. etc. Still, the unpredictable happens.
