"Lost in Laconia" - the movie
"Lost in Laconia", a movie about the Laconia State School can soon be seen at the Red River Theatre in Concord! As someone who is highly uninformed about the Laconia State School, I'm not making any comments here, except that it had a long history, from the early 1900's to 1991 when it was closed.

There was a nice informative interview session several days ago on NHPR, during the 9am interview program called Exchange.
Maybe it can be heard on the website. |

We haven't seen this movie yet, but we are looking forward to it.
Strange how the best of intentions at the time ended up being detrimental to a segment of the population which had no voice or real advocate. |
