Okay...
Having heard many mentions of the fabled lobster rolls at Pepper's, I now have to ask my Captain Obvious question: Where is Waldo's, and are these rolls still being served? I am heading up tomorrow through Sunday and y'all have whetted my appetite!

If not, here's link to help guide you on your journey: http://www.waldopeppers.com/directions.htm and a pic for the eyes to better see it (note: picture it without the snow and closed sign): and a rearview mirror look, after you just drove past it: Suggestion: Try their lobster sub and remember, it takes two hands to handle a whopper.

D'oh!
I've seen the place. Admittedly, I do not get over to that side of the Lake very much via car. Yes, I've seen the threads, made mental note, but never made a pilgrimage. Perhaps this weekend....

Waldo Pepper's
Sorry Grant, but you missed it by a week. Waldo Pepper's is now closed for the season. Pepper says they'll reopen in March.
By the way Pepper, have a great winter and stay warm under your quilt. Spnr Bug. |

I love the first picture, because of the snow. I'm bummed that it's closed for the winter. I wanted to come try it during the derby this winter after reading so much about it. Oh well, maybe next summer.

Pepper...just curious.....are you going to "hang out" for the winter or take a much deserved trip to the sunshine? In any case, have a wonderful and relaxing break. We know how hard you both have to work the rest of the year.Maybe we'll catch up with you with a rum cocktail in each hand down in Key West

Samiam - the only place Waldo and I are going is to Laconia! Seriously! We just bought our first house, and are busy making it into a home.
Perhaps a rum coctail in our kitchen, when the house is all done? Or better yet - in the dining room overlooking the falls at Simon Pierce! We'll be in touch.
