Default Kellerhause

I always get some stocking stuffers from Kellerhause. Lots of neat little things -- even the candy can be put into a box that screams Lake Winnepesaukee.

...if I had a hammer....looking for another hammer like a 2 lb mason's hammer...highest quality...fiberglass, rubber & forged iron...for like six dollars...check out J T's Discount on route 104 in New Hampton, lots of very good hand tools and household items in there for very reasonable prices....and it is an owner-operator, small business.....about one mile from route 93, exit 23....just where the speed limit changes from 35 to 55mph....handsaws, ratchets, try-squares, awls, plastic storage organizers, indestructable ice choppers, and sledge hammers, & much more. Surprise yourself and see how far you can make a twenty dollar bill get stretched!

Also, home of what must be the county's oldest german shepherd.

In light of the no advertising rule being waved, I'd like to add that the Winnipesaukee Playhouse sells gift certificates in any amount OR you could consider giving the gift of a summer season subscription (or theatre summer camp for a kid).

Default The Winni Playhouse...

If you have never attended a performance at the WP, then I encourage all of you to get out and support this local community theater.
As a first-time actor in this season's "It's a Wonderful Life" I can attest to the incredible hard work and all-consuming life this theater is to the Halperin's and Pankhurst's and the complete dedication of the entire cast and crew.
What an amazing effort to put on this, or any, show.

Default Lakes Region Themed Gifts

Found this company at a cart at the Steeplgate Mall. They have several items that directly relate to the Lakes Region and prices seem very reasonable.

NH Pewter often has coupons in the paper (the Holiday insert) for a free ornament when you spend something like $25 or $30 bucks (not 100% about the amount) but anyhow, it's a good value and they do such lovely work!

Also, check your local historical society, town hall, or library. Many sell calendars, prints, ornaments, etc. to raise money for special projects in town. The money goes to a good cause and you get something very 'local'!

For the map-loving enthusiast, Bizer can print a LARGE format (36"x54") map of Lake Winnipesaukee (or Winnisquam) to put on your wall or over your fireplace. Bizer will laminate it for you or you can have it framed. Either way, it's a great conversation piece. AND, you get an up-to-date prototype of Bizer's eighth edition, due to be published in the spring. (Note: cute granddaughter is not included) - http://www.bizer.com

I received my LAKES REGION AERIAL CALENDAR today and I'm wicked impressed. It's a beauty! Nice job Bill! He's says there are only a few left so, if interested, I guess you better place your order soon. Out of curiosity, I'm interested in how many were printed up?
