Default I Remember!

I'm dating myself for sure, but I was a BU student in 1970 and I remember James Montgomery performing in BU's Myles Standish dorm's student lounge one Saturday night. He was phenomenal!

In the mid 70's I was playing with a band called Sweet Misery and we opened for James Montgomery at the Cheshire Fairgrounds at a van rally that was happening there that weekend.

Good Times,
Bill

I remember Sweet Misery out of Concord. They played at the Music Hall in Concord and Outer Limits in Tilton. Wild Times.

James Montgomery opened for Allman Bros. at PSC during their 'Eat a Peach' tour. He practically stole the show!

As for Sweet Misery, I remember 'The Blend' from Conway. aka White Mtn. National Blend.

Those were the days!

How weird. I just posted about seeing Aerosmith with Duke and The Drivers at the JFK this morning on FB.

I also saw Aerosmith during their 1974 Freedom Jam Tour only at Stepping Stone Ranch in Escoheag, RI!! Also playing were Muddy Waters, Sha Na Na and some others. Someone was selling bad acid. The perimeter of the crowd was lined with several ambulances and we were passing those affected over our heads to the ambulances. (And the young folk think that THEY invented crowd-surfing!!) And, of course, no one on the forum will be surprised to hear that I took pics! Can you believe the long hair and sideburns on me? Do I look a little foggy??
