Default Cow Island Public Beach

Does anyone have any details about the Cow Island public beach?
43°38'05.0"N 71°18'52.6"W

Some questions I have are:
1) can you pull the boat up on the beach?
2) do you need any sort of town sticker to beach?
3) what is the approach like? Rocky?
4) Are there any dusk/dawn limitations?
5) I have read articles about camping, what are the details?
6) It looks like there is a trail through the interior. It looks like the town owns most of the interior land. Any more details?
7) I don't see any mention of facilities or maintenance, so I assume it is carry in/carry out.
8) Is there a trail up the hillside?
9) ANY other details are appreciated.

Thank you.

That thread is twelve years old and seemingly without a resolution. Anyone have an update?

I’ve been on Cow Island over 40 years and have been there once. To call it a public beach is very misleading. Very small area.

Re: Question #1, I dont think I have seen a boat beached on Winnipesaukee since I was a child, not 100% sure if its illegal or just seriously frowned upon, but considering how common it is to beach boats in other parts of the country I'll bet its been 50 years since I've seen it done here,,,

Anyone know whats the reals story about questions #1 ???
