Default Does anybody have information on the lit up crosswalk at Meredith Bay Village?

The crosswalk connecting Meredith Bay Village to Irving appears to be lit up all the way across like Samuel L. Jackson's hazy purple light saber.

Does anybody know how this came about?

What is the name of the product?

How much is the electric bill? Etc.

People are getting hit crossing the road in my home town, so I was wondering if this would be a good solution.

Thank you all very much in advance!

I think you’re talking about the crosswalk down by the Town Docks in Meredith. I believe the author is talking about the one near the Wine’ing Butcher and the Rite Aid.

Down the bottom of high school hill on NH Route 25 there's a cross walk with lights and a button.

I can’t find any information online about purple illumination for crosswalks. What I did find is the faulty LED lighting can take on a purple or bluish haze coloring. I’m wondering if that’s the actual explanation!

Thank you, that's interesting. The good thing about purple or any color is that it stands out.
