Default 9/11 documentary

We just stumbled upon Runway of Hope, the story of the landing of hundreds of planes and 7000 people who were directed to Gander, Newfoundland, where they spent many days as guests of some wonderful and generous people. This is a very heartwarming story. As you might recall, the airspace throughout this entire country was closed to all air traffic, and Gander wound up with thousands of guests. They apparently were amazing hosts.
Sorry….this is not a lakes region specific story, but it’s worth mentioning.
