Strange Objects Floating In Water
Yesterday evening we noticed several round objects floating in the water off of our home on Long Island. They looked similar to fishing bobbers, but were dark in color and about 2 inches in diameter. They did not move with the waves or wind and did not wash up on shore, but they were gone by the next morning. They were about 30 feet from shore in about 20 feet of water.
Any idea what this could have been? |

I don’t know the answer, but it sounds spooky.

It looked like they were in a pattern like someone placed nets to catch fish or placed traps of some kind.

Many, many years ago about this time of year, I saw something float by that looked like a tv. I took the little boat to retrieve whatever and it turned out be a computer monitor and computer. I could not imagine why they were there. I called the police and it turned out they had been stolen from Kingswood. About 6 months later the police came and took them. Moral of the story? You never know what might be floating in the lake.

A computer and monitor floated? Buoyancy wouldn’t be the first attribute to come to mind.
