Grooming the Moultonborro SMC trails
I saw on the club website that they need volunteers to help groom. Unfortunately, I'm not around on the weekdays and go up on the weekends. How involved is it to use the Skandic groomers?

Grooming with a scandic is not that involved. It occationally helps to have a little rider input(standing on a running board) to negitiaote a tight turn and just a bit of practice to figure out how far down to run the drag so as to avoid digging too deep.
I think it's a lot of fun really, I know most who run the machines enjoy it. If you're a club member feel free to contact me sometime to give it a try. paulfdriscoll(at) yahoo(dot) com Treasurer and Acting Trailmaster(we are looking to fill this position too) |
