Default fishing near alton bay

I am visiting Lake Winnipesaukee from CT and have had a great time so far. I have caught a few smallies, but nothing to write home about. The water is so clear that I went in the water with a fishing rod and used a little senko to catch some smallies. While doing this, I noticed an absurd amount of rock bass going for every thing I put down there. They seem to be a real problem. Let me get to the point. I know that fisherman don’t normally give away their secret spots, but are there any vague spots that you know are good for catching some more quality smallmouth? Oh, and I have boat, so getting places won’t be a problem.
