Need yard help to prepare for a fence
Hello,
Looking for one or two people to help with preparing my lot line for fencing. Rocks need to be moved and fill needs to be put on the lot line. The rocks are not heavy at all it's just that I had back surgery and can't help my husband do what is needed. We also have plenty of other yard maintenance also if you would also want to do. Would like to have the word done asap.....My dog's are getting out of the yard and I don't want to have to chase them!!! Thank you!!! |

When working full time.
Going to night school. And restoring an 1800's Victorian house. Had little time for yard work. In those days I placed an ad in local newspaper for yard work. I paid well. Always got some high school kid. To do yard work. Never allowed young person into house. Always spoke with and invited parents to view what needs to be done. Another avenue is to make an appointment with local high school guidance counselor. A physical one on one visit. That person can find some to do yard work. Another avenue is to write to the local Lions Club. All correspondence is read to members. Be clear and concise. Or even join the local Lions Club. Good Luck. |

Wonderful effort, but you may need to think carefully as things have changed over the years. Moving rocks, etc could subject your hire to injury or a bee sting attack...backs, hands, hernias, etc. etc. and society today loves to sue. I would check to be sure you had all the insurance needed "just in case". If it is an older person or company, make sure you get a copy of their insurance coverages for liability and workers compensation. You don't want to open yourself to financial liabilities on what seems on the surface like a simple project for someone. It is a strange world we live in. You might find it better to hire a business with insurance coverages in writing......
