Default Ice forming on Alton Bay

This cold snap has formed ice from the bridge at Downing's Landing to just beyond the bandstand.

So much for the last boats getting off the lake at Downing's.

Island Girl usually starts the ice in thread, but with that much of the bay catching so quickly, i wanted to get the information out. No pulling a boat in Alton. Hopefully she will get the ice in thread started soon.
