Arrow Little Mark Island

We got a big surprise the other day driving by Little Mark Island.
(I searched, but could not find any posts about this)

I’m going to miss that pretty little cottage. I would imagine that starting with a fresh build made more sense.

wow, that was there a few weeks ago when I drove by with my dad. Sad to see an old cottage go, I always like the older looking cottages. But I'm sure that on an island like that it gets to a point that there is just too much to repair.

It was beautifully restored not too many years ago but a family member got in legal trouble and the house sat. I am not sure when they sold it, but it never looked lived in after that, not sure if it was. I guess we all are sad to see quaint houses disappear.

On one of the Facebook posts, it was stated the house will be rebuilt the same way.

I would imagine given the size of the island they have no other choice but to follow the footprint unless they made it smaller and went up?

In the meantime there’s always the lighthouse on the lesser known Little Mark Island to enjoy.
