Default GPS Trailmasters for NH

This is the second season Ive been using the GPS based map system put out by GPS Trailmasters and they work really well.

I recall using it last season out of state and the detail of trail maps was impressive.

If you have not tried sledding with an onboard gps, it is a nice complement to paper maps

NH electronics version is $30, and Maine is $45. Trail updates are published on a regular basis depending on club reporting.

I use a Garmin Nuvi 2757 and surprisingly the touch-display still works with gloves!!

Yep- been using GPS Trailmaster for a few years now too. I also use Backwoods GPS. I have them both loaded into my Montana 680T. I've found that they can differ quite a bit, cause they both use information provided by independent sources to update the trails accuracy. The Trails are always closing, re-routed, or whatever, so keeping up with that must be quite a task. Having both Backwoods GPS & GPS Trailmaster in my unit I can enable or disable one or the other, or enable both to see how they map together. That's a good way to double check the trail to "where you want to go" is viable. If both maps show a completed route, with approximate same miles for distance, the trail is most likely, good to go.
