Default Winni Pets - Pollen

My lab did a lot of swimming in the lake this weekend. I think the pollen may have really bothered her. Anyone else have similar problems with their pet?

My black lab has been sneezing a lot lately and I think she's changing color!

Unhappy Dog Allergies

The poor thing. Hopefully the sumptoms will ease as the pine pollen does.

Mac used to have trouble in the fall when the leave were falling. My vet suggested Benadryl. (generic ok) it really helped and it didn't seem to tire him out as it does me. (see link below for dosage) He didn't care for taking them, but I figured out that a batch of five minute cooking oatmeal firms up like a pudding. I hid the tiny capsule in a nice scoop, which he would effortlessly swallow, not knowing he got medicine.

Here's hoping this rain knocks some of the pollen out of the air.

Default My lab is better...

It was the pollen. She's been much better this week. Just hope the pollen is better for our next trip to the lake.
