Default Island Support Service

Call Steve Buzzota at Island Support Service. He does just about everything on the island and is AWESOME to deal with. He did all my work on Rattlesnake and is a quality guy! Check out his web site.

Default Call Bob

Bob's Painting & Pressure Washing - and he has his own boat. For those who know me, they know I'm biased in my recommendation. He's booked until fall and part of next summer already so perhaps that will speak for itself. www.bobpowellspainting.com Whether or not he would do it is something I can't answer though.

Try Chris Leighton Painting in Laconia 608-5541, he is who ISS usually contracts the painting jobs out to. He will be much cheaper direct. He does not have a boat and will usually work out transportation with ISS or use yours. I have used him multiple times and he was great, he used my boat most of the time to get out when I was not around.

Default Request for thread Hijack

Can I hijack the thread?
Anyone know of someone who can re level my island camp on post. Additional pilings were added years ago but it was never properly leveled. Does not seem like a do it yourself project to me. Safety and quality is my main concern.
Thanks for any contacts.

Rattle Guy,

Lakes Region Marine has done a nice job building our cottage on Rattlesnake this year, I'm sure they could handle a project like that no problem at all. 253-7272 tell Tom Pete sent you.

If you want to take a ride by we are Broads side 1/3 of the way up from Alton

Default Formula...just curious

Hey Formula I was just curious, you say Lakes Region Marine is building your cottage. I thought they only did docks. I used them for my dock and breakwater (on Rattlesnake) last year and he actually hooked me up with Steve at ISS to build our log cabin (as LRM didn't do building on the land). Again just curious?

RG, I again would recommend Steve at ISS...see earlier response to Formula.

Lakes Region is under new ownership, the two guys who own it now are long time lake contractors, they put on a crew of carpenters for construction such as mine. The dock guys are a seperate crew, they should be starting my breakwater asap. Send me an email if you have any questions.

I also spoke with Steve as ISS, he sounds very compenent, either group would do just fine
