Jeepers...Where y' Been?
The slalom course has "gone missing" for over 20 years.
Even if skiers were desirous to return to that location, the area has changed-over to rafters. If you meant "The Narrows", Loon nests are now protected: their "guard" is a member of this forum. Don't even think of it! |

It should be right were the public boat launch is in Wolfeboro.
Turn right were the public parking is by the train station, and the slalom course should be at the end of the parking lot (go all the way to the very end). It may not be set up yet though. |

Maybe the Slalom Course is in Back Bay (Wolfeboro). Like forever... NB
OK: If you don't have a boat and don't go snooping around you might not discover this. |

It IS in Back Bay now. But it did not used to be. We are talking about the "old" days.

Yes, the ramp is there too. I think they are skiing now too because I was at a softball game at Foss Field last week and you could see big spray so I am pretty sure they were skiing. |

Just a question
With a slalom course in Back Bay, it must be a little difficult to keep 150 ft from the shoreline. True or false? It's not just the size of the course, but also having a straight in run to start and finish the course, or to approach and finish the ski jump ramp.
I've never been back there in my boat, and don't really have a perspective from the shore. Just curious.

The widest part of Back Bay is about 650 ft.The first 1/2 is roughly about a 500 ft average.
