Default Cider Press at the Barn (now Trenta)

Hello:

Does anyone know what is going on with Cider Press at the Barn? There seems
to be a lot of activity outside, improvements, etc.; but nothing about when it might open?

Thanks

Default Update on former Cider Press

My husband & I stopped by today to check things out because there were a few cars in the parking lot, the front door was open, and some work was obviously in progress. A friendly gentleman who seemed to be in charge — possibly one of the new owners — told us they're doing a little beyond the renovations that the Nolans had made and expect to be open as a restaurant by the Spring (they already have some events booked).

New name will be Trenta, a European version of “30” Middleton Road. It looked very inviting and will be a “tablecloth” restaurant serving continental food. We have high hopes for it.

Sounds like it could end up being on the pricey side.......

Let's hope it will have great offerings.

Thanks for the feedback BrownstoneNorth. There has been a lot of work going on at the location for several months so it makes sense a restaurant will be launched soon. The owners are making many positive changes on the outside and are taking their time so I am also encouraged by what is happening. I think a name rebranding makes a lot of sense. Looking forward to visiting Trenta in the spring!

Default Cider Press at the Barn

Trenta (formerly Cider Press) is having an open house and job fair on-site from 10am to 4 pm this Saturday, 11/19. They say they’re hiring for all positions.

I think it is owned by the same person who owns Nolan's in Wolfeboro.

Kevin and Robb. I laugh because every time I see or hear something about it they never say last names. But I am pretty sure it's Kevin Carr. The do also own Nolan's.

You're right — Kevin Carr and Robert Martin.

BTW, whoever we spoke to there said that the Nolans had been operating the second story of the building as a B&B and that's still the case.

Trenta will be opening in just a few short weeks!
We’d like to meet a few more exceptional people that would like to join our team!
We are hiring all positions. Bartenders, servers, hosts, dishwashers, line cooks and etc.
Not looking for employment?
If you want to just come and check out our newly renovated restaurant before we open, stop by!

Default Cider Press at the Barn

I see some confusion coming down the road, namely, involving the name: Cider Press at the Barn. On Rt 109 just north of downtown Wolfeboro, there is the Inn on Main (not to be confused with the Wolfeboro Inn on Main Street), and a part of that business is a large, refurbished barn used as a function hall (receptions, etc.), frequently referred to as the Barn. Maybe I am reading something I don't see, but I hope people don't confuse the two barns. Just something to think about.

The new name is Trenta, Camp guy. It means thirty apparently named after the street number.

McDude, your post is first person "We". Are you part of the ownership/management team?

Nope, not the owner. Happily retired and plan on staying that way. The post was lifted from their FB page. Just the thought of owning or managing a restaurant makes me exhausted. I have the highest regard for folks in the food service industry.

Default Change the title of this thread to “Trenta”?

Is there a way to do this? Cider Press is long gone. Trenta opened a couple of weeks ago ago and is doing great.
