Default 2022 Fuel Prices

2022 sure has been a crazy year of fuel prices!

If anyone is interested in the "historical" fuel prices on the lake over time, especially after this year, WinniGas.com/pricelist is sporting a new feature which not only shows the most recent 100 prices reported, but now allows you to select a specific gas dock instead of all reported prices. Use the link above, or on the WinniGas menu, select "Price History"

The database goes back to the spring of 2010, for gas docks that don't have many prices reports each year you may see all the data, but for those that are more popular you may be limited as to how far back in time those 100 reports go.

At this point, I'm not sure if many people look at the historical prices, so if anyone thinks that 100 is too limiting, feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks, Rich--this is a fun look back. Folks might consider adjusting for inflation if looking all the way to 2010. The Consumer Price Index is up about 36% since then. So the $5 or so that we remember would be $6.80/gallon today. Gas is cheap!?

Good info, Rich. Thank you.

MVYC has a discount price for members. Are there other gas docks that do this? How about cash price vs credit card? It could be cumbersome to report each specific program, but a footnote that says "Discount program available" might be good to know.

Thank you and I'm glad that someone finds this somehow useful.

MVYC is the only one I know of that has a discount program.

I ask every gas dock owner/manager to review their listing and I do recieve changes or corrections from time to time, but no one has ever asked for discounts to be listed. I certainly could do it if asked.
