First Mate
All of our dogs have been wonderful but this one is just fantastic. He knows when we are nearing home no matter which way we arrive (and at 3-4 miles), same thing at the lake(making the turn at Shaw's). When we went to Burbank, CA the second time he started his "I'm at my second home" talk.
He loves the lake. Just ask him if he wants to go to the lake. |

Just adorable! Love that face! It makes you wonder how they know, doesn't it?

He looks like he'll make a great 1st mate! Dogs certainly are smart. Especially poodles. We rent the same cabin in West Alton each summer for a couple of weeks and our Sadie hops out of the truck and goes right to her spot when we first arrive every year; never misses a beat. It's like we never left.
