Default Pitman's Freight House

Unbelievable blues/rock show last night. 1st time there and will definitely be going back. James Montgomery Band. Montgomery was the only one from his band, but he sure can still make a harmonica scream! He had the lead guitarist from Joe Cocker, bassist from aerosmith, local guitarist Chuck Farrin(?) from Wolfeboro and a perpetually smiling drummer that all simply rocked! The audience was dancing and rocking along with the band. PFR is a laid back, BYOB place where you can reserve seats by phone, a table or even a couch! Many people arrived early and brought a cooler with food and snacks. The venue is awesome. Check it out. 94 new Salem st Laconia. pitmansfreightroom.com

If you like screaming guitars, harmonicas and drum solos - this show is worth the price of admission and then some. These guys are no spring chickens but man can they play! Great show and I'm sure the show in Alton will be as well.
