Default 3/28/08 Update from www.Sno-streakers.com

3-28-08 We collected another 3 inches of dense snowman snow this morning/last night. The groomers had been out before this storm and not many people have been riding, so the tracks set up flat and frozen under the new snow = WOW!! It may be fleeting but the riding today was outstanding. I'm going right back out in it. The tree on Wool's trail (South Down) has been removed = thank you trail crews. Water bars are dropping in on the woods trails but over all the riding is still really good. The rails are starting to show around road crossings so be careful of switches =(the spots were rails cross for switching a train from one track to another) because they can badly trap a ski and stop you in a hurry. The lakes are starting to pull away from shore and pressure ridges are melting in and becoming wider - use great caution if you have to travel on the lakes. See you on the trails!
