Nice! So is that a bandana posing as a mask or a true mask? Inquiring minds want to know...

At twenty dollars for this map of the lake, face mask, that is a whole lot of money!

Heath's Hardware store in Center Harbor has about 25 different tie dye face masks, very high quality designs, all cotton for five dollars-each ...... made locally by www.theedgetiedye.com

Very pricey. Material cost is under $3 and time to make is appropriately 7 mins. YouTube it

It is pricey, but if it's a small business struggling to stay afloat it's no different than tipping extra for takeout.

I'm not sure this is normal, but there's a group of people in my town providing masks for free to adults and kids.

My wife has a friend in Hampton Falls who has a group of women sewing masks (I think she (my wife) said something like +13,000 to date) and giving them away.

If it’s a bandana, they should say it’s a bandana...a mask is something totally different. I would buy a mask from her but not a bandana.

You can see the elastic on her right ear. It’s a mask.

I think that’s a “stretch”
But you may be right! There does appear to be something going over the ear.

Default Pretty simple

It's all pretty simple, not just for this mask. Sunglasses, apparel, vehicles, boats, e.t.c..

1. Do you like it, yes or no.

2. If you like it, are you willing to pay the price, yes or no.

3. If yes, buy it.

4. If no, walk away with your head held high. You made a decision. Done deal.

Some of "kini" suits I have seen walking around Wolfeboro docks don't have enough material to make a decent face mask.

Unfortunately all I found at Heath's Hardware was a tie dye bandana for $5. Decided to purchase it anyway in support of our local "The Edge" tie die, but then got home and discovered it was made in China. Oh well, at least I supported Heath's.

These were located next to the front register, the clerk said that's all they have, so maybe they sold out? They did have 10 disposable masks for $20 if anyone is interested. Just posting this to save someone a trip.

Default $20 for a mask are you kidding???

It is unfortunate that some people are trying to profit of this pandemic. $20 per mask, when it costs $3-$5 to make. You are not going to keep the lights on in your boutique selling masks ... but it might just close them with the bad press.

People are clearly looking for masks to wear to keep yourself and others safe. Now is the time to serve your community, get on board!!!

My wife has made and given away dozens of masks. So has many others who sew. If you see someone who has a “custom” mask, just ask.

As a salute to both the boutique and my China-bashing Republican pen pals--one of the messed up things about our relationship with China and WalMart-type stores is that it has trained us to devalue American labor and Main St America overhead.

All the clothing you've ever purchased for $20 only costs $3-5 (or less!) in labor and materials. Tons of data from many different sources on this online. The retailer needs approximately 50% of the retail price to keep the lights on. The manufacturer needs 50% of the wholesale price to do the same.

Respectfully, I would not say they “trained us” but more of a slow transition to us being accepting of the fact that American business sold out the “value” of well made, more expensive manufacturing to the Chinese. But first it was Japan...I remember how I used to cringe when looking at a product’s origin label as coming from anywhere but the USA. The came Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Philippines (ad nauseum) until China finally cornered the world market. USA business
sold us out in the name of the almighty dollar. (With lots of help from devious, greedy politicians from both parties.)

I have never been to Jackies boutique but great for Jackie that she has come up with a cool product and I hope she sells a million of them. I would guess the store has been closed for months now so anything she can do to keep it going then good for her. Amazed that people on here giving the whole idea a hard time. Not everyone wants to sit at home and wait for their government check.
