Default Lakeshore Market and Deli

Lakeshore Market and Deli. Recently opened in Gilford between the Liquor Store and Patrick's, I believe. We're looking forward to it.

I saw that the other day…hopefully the new owners are smarter than the previous who just tried to rip off their customers with price gouging that was simply outrageous!

I wish the new owners well as that store is needed and welcomed especially by those in MVYC….

Sounds like a great fit for that location! I wish them well and I hope to drop in for a visit very soon.

Is this where that horrid convenience store was? The best news is the resurfacing of Avery’s pot roast.

Yes, it is in the plaza with the liquors store and Patrick's.

The previous tenants in that store had really run it down hill over the last several years. The new owners have done a great job with renovations and the store looks good.

We stopped in this morning to take a look. It was well stocked and the staff very friendly. Today's meal to go will be roast beef. Their 2nd oven will be on line in a few days then more meal choices. When our camp on Welch is open, this may be a good "what's for dinner" stop prior to heading over.

The have a good craft beer selection.

I went to this store this morning and the first thing I noticed when entering is how clean the place was! What a difference compared to what was there previously!

I was nicely greeted by one of the owners Amy, then met her mom Mary (the other owner) and had a nice conversation about their plans for the store.

As Slick said above, they have a very nice selection of craft beer as well homemade prepared meals that looked wonderful! The store was very organized and stocked well, though Amy did say they will be stocking more items as time goes on based on customers needs.

I see no reason for this store not to be successful as it is desperately needed, has nice owners, clean, organized and no price gouging….a nice recipe for success!

I wish them well!

Dan

We made our 1st trip to Welch on Wednesday with a plan to stay overnight. Bare cupboards, water not in yet, so what's for dinner??

So we hit the deli for lunch and dinner to go. The deli wraps, Italian and chicken salad were very good for lunch. Then I got a turkey dinner and J got the meatloaf dinner. Both were very good and the turkey dinner a very generous serving, some saved for lunch the next day.

Overall a very good place to stop on the way to camp.

I bought their pot roast and corn beef and cabbage dinner the other day and it was great also!

The store is very well stocked and super clean. The owners are really pleasant people to talk to also.

Definitely a great add to the community! Those staying in MVYC are going to love this place!
