Wild blueberries in the Lakes Region
Can anyone provide an update on the status of wild blueberries on the mountains and ridges around Winnipesaukee, particularly along the Belknap Range?

Should be ready. Tons of blueberries along and off the trails.

last wed. I hiked major to belknap and the blueberries were out in force. I recommend hitting Mt. Straightback behind Mt. Major. You can get to it without going over Major by taking the yellow trail to the 2nd blue turnoff (I think those colors are right, but bring a map!)

Are there blueberries to pick at Center Harbor Islands?
We have seen kayaks picking blueberries off the bushes on the islands near Center Harbor. Wondering if there are any ready to pick there yet?
