Bob House Pulled!
So I made the 3 1/2 mile trek across the ice yesterday to retrieve my bob house. Really glad I did as when I got there I noticed all four corner anchors had melted up from under the ice. The holes I had drilled early on in the season had melted and were now about 4’ in diameter with a just a thin crust of ice covering them making it very dangerous to be near. (See pic below) While there was still plenty of ice, the ice was very soft and the upcoming warm forecast told me it was time to get the hell out of Dodge! A short ice season this year for sure!
Time for this ice to melt and time to get the Eastern ready for trolling season! Dan

Mother Nature is a cruel....well you know. Wife was thinking it might be time to pull ours off of Newfound...local fishing derby has trashed the Wellington launch access. Of course lots of idiots drove their vehicles on and off to go a couple hundred yards to fish...😖

What the heck?
OK, I give up. What's that tall conical looking thing in front of the red bob house?

Looks like all the bob houses are off Alton Bay inside Sandy Point.
