Default 6 foot tall picket fence question

So a tree fell down on my cedar post picket fence which is six feet tall. Believe it or not, the fence withstood the fall but five of the pointed pickets were snapped off.

I need to replace five of these pointed picket boards. Does anyone have any idea where I can buy replace these or will I need to go back to the fence company?

And, I believe I am correct in assuming these pickets are made of cedar as well as the post themselves....

Thank you for anticipated input!

Default Fence boards

I'd start by calling Middleton lumber in Meredith. They'll guide you.

Default 6 foot tall picket fence

I'd start by calling the fence company - they may have a section left over from a job, otherwise, Meredith Lumber.

Most homeowner policies have provisions for "removal" to get rid of the fallen tree. Once you've started the claim, they'll also provide options for the pickets. I'd call the fence company to get the best match. Insurance adjusters usually have long lists of contacts for all sorts of repair/replacement. I've had good experience in contacting them even when there was no final claim. You pay the premium, take advantage of the servicers.

Cedar or PT would be a noticeable difference in the weight and cost.
I don't know anywhere that sells the individual pickets of a stockade fence section... just the whole section.

Well, I called the Fence Company which did the original installation, and they sell the picket pieces in bundles of 7, so I am going to buy the bundle.

Pricey in my opinion; $15 each so $105 total. But at least I can get my fence back into great shape.

2.50 per LF...
Sounds a bit inexpensive for quality cedar.
