Alton Fireworks

Can someone tell me if Alton went ahead with its fireworks display on the 3rd? I thought I read that they had been rescheduled to July 11th. Thanks for the help.

They went off on the third as scheduled. There was a notice on the town web site on the 3rd stating that the decision had been made to go for it. A good display I was told.

They did go off - they started at 9:10 instead of the scheduled 9:20 for some reason, and it was a good show!
