JT's Restaurant
Does anyone know what happened to JT's Restaurant acrosss from Fun Spot? Not my favorite place, but kind of an institution in the area. It almost looks as if they closed up quickly. Still piles of newspapers at the door. The whole area is undergoing change, but I haven't read or seen anything about JT's leaving.

another loss
JT's closed about two weeks ago, another loss of the economy, they had some problems last winter but seemed they might pull through, but the slow summer finally took it's toll. Hopefully all the employee's will find work soon

JT's?
I may be the only one, but I love JTs. A roundup for two never disappoints. Their phone just rings and rings, I would have thought they'd leave a 'closed for the season' message or the like. I hope everything is ok with them.

No sign of life at JT's BBQ
We drove by on Saturday, and there was zero sign of life. Shades drawn-no text on the sign that usually lists specials.. pllease don't tell me another restaurant has gone down.

Closed..
Word in the Weirs is that they are closed... permanently.
Very unfortunate for the owners and the locals alike. Now that whole corner is closed up... Woodsy

Drove by Friday 10/3 around 7:30 pm and there were 6 police cruisers and several 0fficers congregating in the parking lot. Anyone know what that was about?

They were splitting up a bakers dozen special from Dunkies.

JT's Summer Status?
So, just wondering if anyone had any up to date info on JT’s status.
Realize that they are closed but any word on if they will re-open once summer comes around? While the parking lot is not even plowed, I don’t see any for sale or for rent signs. Thanks |

I was looking through some real estate listing yesterdays and saw JT's listed. Forget the price, as I'm not interested in buying a restaurant, but I don't think they plan to reopen.

JT's
Interesting peice of tid bit. My recollection is that JT's owns only the building. The land is on one of those 99 year leases from I believe the Fun Spot people. I would guess that there is about 80 years left on that lease. That probably makes it harder to sell since one is only getting the building.

activity around the building
There's been some activity there in the past week. Several cars and trucks with people going in and out. Anyone have the scoop?

old JT's
The "old" JT's is opening by June 1-the new name of the restaurant is "Heat"-from what I have been told, theu will be serving brick oven pizzas and such-my college aged boy went there yesterday to apply for a job.
