Default Second Lakes Region "Quake"?

The cause is speculated to be, ancestors of ours who once walked miles to school, uphill each way, through feet of snow and sub-zero conditions. Upon hearing of school delays due to cold, they simultaneously rolled over in their graves, causing a small “quake”. 

..... And before school, they had fed the animals, milked the cow and used a crow bar to pry little brother off the out house seat

Don't forget about having to take care of their poor widowed mother - and then AFTER school having to take care of their poor widowed father

My grandfather use to tell me about walking 6 miles to school when he was a kid. I actually visit the old homestead and drove the distance to the one room school house in Calais VT. It was 5.7 miles.

My Dad use to walk from White Oaks Road to Laconia High School. That was over 3 miles.

I use to walk a mile from South Main Street to Laconia High school. I thought I was lucky. Today if you live a block or more from the high school you take the bus.

And everyone wonders why the kids today are obese and or lazy...............
