Default Zumba hour - Meredith

Are you looking for a fast paced, one hour, aerobic exercise for a cross training exercise for some other sport like golf, motorcycling, skiing, sailing, tennis, or whatever, or just to burn up a few calories and get a wee bit into some better shape?

Maybe you want to check out the www.practice-room.com in Meredith in the old Harley Davidson building, just up the street from the Case n' Keg and close to Meredith Marina which has two different one hour zumba classes scheduled weekly:

Monday: 9 - 10am

Thursday: 11 - 12 noon

Wear work out clothes such as shorts & a tee shirt, light weight sneakers, and get ready to get all hot and sweaty! Bring a bottle of water. It's a fast, one hour of latin dance step repetitions and is very different than a one hour yoga class!

...sorry gals & guys....no freebie coffee, bells, or walmart....just free water....plus there's a Subway just up the street there with 12" meatball marinara subs for five bucks.....and the one-hour zumba class runs about 12-dollars.....but it's worth it!

$12?I would think FLL would keep that money and do his own zumba dance through the aisles of Walmart.

The www.wmacwv.com is looking for a zumba instructor to start up a class. Any zumba instructors out locally maybe interested in either teaching regular zumba or aquatic swimming pool zumba up in Waterville Valley. Click onto adult fitness calender.

Default Giant Zumbathon last Saturday, April 7, Meredith

In case you missed it, there was a gigundic 2 1/2 hour long Zumba-thon held last Saturday, April 7, inside the Meredith Community Center gym; shaking it up from about 10-am till 12:30-pm, if I remember correct. Admission cost 20-dollars and the money went to some medical program at Dartmouth Medical center in Hanover or something like that.

For 2 1/2 hours there must have been about a total of 100 very energetic women and two not-so-energetic guys who were out there on the "dance floor" wiggling their butts like crazy to the Zumba music as five different Zumba instructors each took a turn at leading the group for 30-minutes each. There was a whole lot of Zumba going on......most happening Meredith event......in the last two hundred year history of Meredith.....without a doubt!

Anyone have any photos to post here.....lots and lots and lots of thin-fit-athletically inclined women in their Zumba outfits out there wiggl'n their butts for 2 1/2 hours definately makes for some goooooooood photographs.......so lets see what's what with the Zumba-thon-Meredith........come on......must be some photos or you-tubes somewhere to get posted here.....and thanks in advance!

It is called latin style dance-exercise and there's a youtube video in a post above with over three million views labelled: "What is Zumba?"
Here's hoping someone of the 100+ or so participants or on-lookers maybe took some photos and could post them here because it was a very active and energetic Zumba event; a Zumba-thon held right down there in the Meredith Community Center which benefitted a specific health care program at Dartmouth Hospital. A whole lot of people had a great time!

If you want to lose some weight and get into some better physical shape, then Zumba will definately work that 4 U!

Have you found a way of returning the tickets and getting a refund after particapating in the "ZUMBATHON"? You could even get some new sneakers for the class and then return them also.
