Like to know who is going to buy it?
This one house would probably support a small maid-service business...Let me be more PC and rephrase...A small cleaning service. Do maids still exist? Butlers? Unisex? I get confused...

I don't know who owns it but in a prior thread I suggested I was primed to purchase it. Until, that is, Think advised that it's a dump.
I'm now thinking that Think was throwing me off such that he could make a lowball offer. Betcha he snagged it for $18 mil and will close next week. He's also looking to build a deck, the timing of which I feel is more than coincidental. |

Owner?
You can find the owner and more details for almost any property on the assessor's database for each town. In many cases it will also tell you when, last sold and price. Who cares? Leave people alone.

We think it might belong to John Rich. Sarcosy, French President at the time, visited there in 2007 (est.)

Always loved this place and it's boathouse. Not a McMansion. Nice layout. Hope they have a ride-on mower.

Camp guy just sent a PM on the history of this property, and I am hoping that he will post it here for everyone to see.

not that I have enough money, live chickens, vials of blood, or desire to buy this, but...
the other thread that had the house that sold for $3 million, makes this place look like a steal at $20 million! and if this is indeed that house that Sarkozy visited, he's probably wishing he was there now instead of the French prison he is scheduled to spend some time in Spring is here and summer is coming, enjoy! -PIG |

It absolutely is the house he visited. MP and Coast Guard shut off the area when he was here.

It is owned by a family down here in the Dover area, not my place to disclose their name. They own some high profile retail space in the Newington/Portsmouth area.
I believe it was bought as an investment/flip believe it or not, they are trying to capitalize on the heightened market and demand. The listing agent is also a good friend of mine. |
