Default Covid: Weirs Beach Limits

The city is making plans for summer crowd control, including July 4th weekend.

Because federal funds were used for beach improvements in the past, the city cannot limit access to just city, county or state residents, and it also cannot charge admission to beachgoers.

The Gov announced on the radio today that he was opening up the beaches to sunbathing.... more formal announcement to follow!
