Default crash at Dewey's in Center Harbor

For any fans of Dewey's ice cream in Center Harbor you might have to wait for your fix...............repairs in progress after a crash into the building today around 5pm. Young man claims to have lost his brakes coming down Coe Hill rd and tried to make the corner. Was taken to the hospital nothing major, thank goodness no one was hurt in the store. Watch for the repairs and re-opening hopefully it will be soon the moose tracks is calling me.

Hope the guy driving the truck is okay.

We will be up next Saturday for our annual two week vacation and was wondering if you heard anything about the store being open by then.

We just love their ice cream!

Yeah, Dewey's was closed for renovation - during ice-cream season. What's with that!? This new truck-based modification will set them back a bit, but hey, maybe the publicity will help business. Now, how the heck did that truck end up on the porch. There's an interesting story there...

As a side note, this is the former Nichols Variety Store where every kid in the area came for penny candy, and comic books.
