Default Duck's Eye view of Winnipesaukee and other sunrise pictures

While I was out at sunrise, hoping for a "good" morning sky, I decided to try and photograph the view the bunch of ducks see, every time I'm shooting sunrise from this spot. These ducks come to hang around each time I go to Diamond View beach at Lake Shore Park.

Well... here it is

I held the lens about 3 inches off the water

Anyway... here are some of the "normal" shots from the same sunrise.

One of the interesting things about the low level shots is the way that the low angle changes the Depth of Field. The marker buoy you see in the two low angle pictures looks so much bigger than it really is. It also looks closer. An optical illusion caused by the buoy blending into the distant horizon...( I think ) If you look at the second picture of the boys fishing .. you see the same buoy and it looks "normal" size, because it doesn't blend into the shoreline.. ( I think )

Mine used to have that ability, then she got an ipad. I can get away with pretty much anything now.

I have no photoshop tool that can fix that in the picture.

Thank You!.. I've considered trying to sell some of my photo's. One of the issues I need to be sure I've got completely correct, before selling, is the issue of "privacy". I am reluctant to sell photo's that contain images of people, particularly minors, without a written consent from the individuals.

I've been told that people in public, don't have the "right" to privacy.. but I wouldn't want to get anyone upset with me for profiting from images of them without me getting permission first. It's even a little more tricky if the subject is a minor, as for example, I suspect the young men in the "fisherman" picture to be.

Now as far as the ducks go.. I got no problem making a few bucks off them!

Anyway.. you asked me what "time it was"... and as usual I end up trying to tell you how to build a watch, and I don't want to take this thread off the subject.

Mrs. SteveA was at the lake with me the other morning, shooting sunrise, and caught a good picture of this guy giving me hell about my comment!
