That sucks.

This threw me off though:

Quote:
The fire was reported just before noon.

Police said all three of the boat’s occupants were out of the water at the shore when they arrived.

Crews knocked down the main portion of the fire from the land, and after towing the damaged boat to shore, they were able to fully extinguish it by 2:15 p.m.

Officials said there was no environmental hazard as a result of the fire.
Ehm. I'm reading this @ 1:21 PM. Ya'll Tuftonboroans living int he future?

Not sure what threw you off.
"Fire crews responded to a boat fire on Lake Winnipesaukee in Tuftonboro on Thursday, officials said in a press release Friday."

The report has since been updated, which is very typical of WMUR.

Interesting from the pictures this happened over at 19 mile bay....
Does anyone have anymore details? Was it a fueling mishap at the gas dock....
It was all cleaned up as of last weekend, so I had no idea, that last Thursday was so exciting
