Default Best/shortest route / off Lake to Red Hill Trail

In prior years the most direct way off the lake (Center Harbor Region) to the Red Hill trail area was to near Driftwood Dr. in Moultonborough. Last year there was a new house where the trail was... Any suggestions regarding the easiest/nicest way to get from the lake up to the Red Hill would be very helpful.

Thanks...

Default

Maybe off Center Harbor Bay? Coming into the bay stay right of the Mount, and there is a trail that crosses to Fullertons Irving Station, Follow the trail behind the Gas Station up to Red Hill area.

Mass,

Are you talking of the old trail off Salmon Meadow Cove?

There is a trail at the far tip of the cove past where the old trail came out. It is only 6' wide and has a 10mph speed limit on it. It connects in the general area where the old trail did.

Default Yes - Samon Meadow Cove

WINNOCTURN,

I now have my lake chart in front of me and, yes, it was Samon Meadow Cove. I will give it a try tomorrow!

Many thanks!
