Default Canada

Canada is opening its doors to a free weekend in February. I believe it is the 11th and 12th. The only requirement is you MUST have proof of insurance on you to ride in Canada and they will be stopping and checking at the clubs.
Also if you have EVER had a DWI or felony conviction forget it, if they stop you at the border and do a background check you will not get in. They now go back as far as records allow them to, no more 7 years, it could have been 10-15 years ago if they see it they will not allow you to cross over.

Question Canada

That's a first. In the past few years a bunch of us will ride into Cananda from Pittsburg. The border patrol would check to see if we have a passport, valid registration and that the machines are insured. Did they change the laws?

The corridor to Sherbrook is like the autobahn in Germany. Make sure you have spare belts.

Yes if I remember correctly the crossing in Pittsburg isn't nearly as big as the one on 201. Hell the border crossing north of Jackman is like a city on both sides. And yes they have been doing the checks very frequently for many years now. Takes about a half hour out of your day. My wife and I got run twice last year, once on the sleds and once this summer on the bikes.
