Comman Man in Ashland and Lago

Went to the Common Man for dinner Saturday and it was great. Pretty good prices too. The summer salad was decorated with edible flowers and was delicious.

But the really cool part of the Comman Man was the bar upstairs. I've been to the restaurant several times but never to the bar. I'd have to say it's in the top five bars I've ever been to (and I've been to quite a few). Very unique and plenty of room. Check it out if you have the chance.

Then we went to Lago last night after having a few drinks sitting on the adirondacks outside. What a perfect night weather-wise!

Had the tomato/mozzarella salad, mussels, and a meatball flatbread. Mmmm,mmm...good stuff.

We weren't crazy about Lago when if first changed but gave it several chances and it's getting better every time. The added tables, chairs, and outside bar are a great addition too.
