Small Mouth Bass
Well I'm home in CT after two weeks in NH on Winni and some awesome fishing. We caught hundreds of fish. The smallies were huge. Although we caught a some rock bass, when we got smallies (most of the time) they were awesome looking fish. I only caught one large mouth and it was a monster. Love this lake... I definitely need to retire on Winni...

Most were in 15 feet or less, wacky worm worked best. But we also did spinner and crank baits. Early AM about 5-7 was best but 6-830 pm was good too. Fishing the points and rocks worked just like it was supposed too. Yamamoto and Yum green pumpkin colors. Finesse worms hooked wacky with nail weight was hammered every time. Hope it helps - good luck!
OH - Toward the end of vacation, July 12th, they seemed to go deeper. |

Caught this large mouth last Sunday. It's the biggest one I've hooked and it was fun to land too.
